October 2021, in the tenth anniversary of UUMC being designated as a Reconciling Church. Join our October, 2021 Monday night Zoom class which will delve into our belief that All are made in the image and likeness of God. And if this is what we believe, then trans people, like all people, reflect something of God, and not just in the ways that they share in common with others, but also in the ways that they are different. They remind us that God is beyond all of our categories, even gender. Our study will center around Beyond a Binary God: A Theology for Trans* Allies, in which author Tara Soughers explores theology from the position of a trans ally―a parent of a trans young adult as well as priest. If you are interested in participating, please contact the church office: firstname.lastname@example.org

If you are not comfortable in person outdoors, she can Zoom, FaceTime or set up a phone call.
